Stonesplitter

When assaulting fortresses all across Terra, Ushotan carried a modified Thunder Hammer that allowed him to split asunder the walls of fortifications as well as the defenders within with ease. Stonesplitter uses the following rules:

Melee, Sx2, AP2, Concussive, Sunder, Wrecker

Artillery Command Relay

Ushotan carried a sophisticated piece of communications equipment that allowed him to accurately direct the artillery under his command, while still leading the assaults of his Legio personally. Barrage weapons in the same detachment may draw line of sight from Ushotan, and any blast weapon in his detachment targeting a unit within 12” of Ushotan scatters only d6”. 

Fortress Assault

When attacking units within 12” of Buildings, Fortifications, or Ruins, Ushotan and any unit he has joined gain the Furious Charge special rule

Fury of the Shunned

In games set after the massacre at Mount Ararat, Ushotan and any unit he has joined gain the Hatred (Custodes & Astartes) special rule

Sublime Strategist

The Captains-General were chosen for their strategic mastery of the battlefield, surpassing that of all other warriors of the Legiones Cataegis. A model with this special rule may choose its warlord trait rather than rolling as normal, and any detachment containing it may reroll failed Seize the Initiative rolls.

Master of the Cataegis

Only one model with this special rule may be included in a detachment for every 1000 points. In addition, a detachment containing at least one model with this special rule may take a Rite of War

Gifted Strategist

The Prefects of the Legiones Cataegis were gifted generals on the battlefield, capable of spotting the weaknesses of enemies and adjusting their attack towards it. A model with this special rule may roll two dice when determining its warlord trait and pick either result

Field Commander

The Princeps of the Legiones Cataegis were frequently the officers in direct command of the men on the ground. As a result, they often influenced the tactics of the troops on the ground much more than the higher ranking officers. A Legio Princeps may confer one of the following special rules to one unit in his detachment. If he chooses himself, the unit he has joined also benefits from the rule (choose both rule and unit immediately after warlord traits have been determined):
