Gunline tactics

While often still eager to throw themselves into close combat, the Veteran Gunline Squads of the Cataegis developed more sophisticated long range tactics that made them effective at range as well. Immediately after warlord traits have been determined, a squad with this special rule may select one of the following special rules that it has for the remainder of the game:

• Preferred Enemy (Everything)

• Machine Killers: the squad gains +1 on its armour penetration rolls

• Shred (applies to all of the squad’s ranged attacks)

• Twin-linked (applies to all of the squad’s ranged attacks)
